NodeFarm Token Usage

NodefarmToken enables holders to engage with the Nodefarm ecosystem in several key ways:

1. Powering Network Transactions Use $NFM to pay for network services, including real-time data retrieval (Node Collect), AI-specific crawling, search queries (Node Search), dataset access, and other premium features.

2. Staking Incentives Stake $NFM to specialized nodes (e.g., Validator Nodes) to help facilitate network operations and security. Stakers earn rewards for supporting Nodepay’s infrastructure.

3. Ecosystem Governance Participate in the development of the Nodefarm network. Token holders can propose and vote on improvements, define which partners to onboard, and determine incentive mechanisms for all participants.

Network Fees

In the Nodefarm ecosystem, all stakeholders are ultimately compensated in NFM. While customers and AI companies may pay using USD, USDT, or other supported tokens, the revenue generated by Nodefarm services is converted into NFM. This converted revenue is then proportionally distributed to stakeholders—bandwidth node operators, validators, and other network participants and contributors—who facilitate access to Nodefarm's resources.

Network Security

NFM is staked to validator nodes to ensure compliance with network protocols. Validators must accurately route bandwidth traffic and report resource consumption for each transaction. Slashing (penalties) may be triggered if malicious behavior or misreporting is detected. As Nodefarm transitions to a fully decentralized model, slashing will be handled automatically via on-chain governance.

The Nodefarm platform depends on blockchain technology to address three core objectives:

1. Global Settlement Efficiency Managing rewards across 190 countries and multiple currencies is simpler and more seamless on the blockchain. By processing transactions on-chain, Nodefarm can distribute rewards to participants worldwide without the need for cumbersome intermediaries.

2. Transparent Operations Recording every transaction on-chain provides clear evidence of reward distribution and ensures data source authenticity. It also allows community members to verify how bandwidth and rewards flow through the network.

3. User Ownership Instead of allowing large entities to benefit from user-generated data, Nodefarm distributes ownership to the very contributors who drive its AI ecosystem. By receiving NFM tokens, participants have a direct stake in the platform's success and are fairly compensated for the value they help create.
